For those who do not know, the Dakar Rally is an extreme competition of all terrain vehicles that maximizes the physical and mental abilities of a team, this type of competition is carried out in places where climatic difficulties play a very important role and finally we have to talk about the vehicles, many of those who participate here are prototypes, others are unique or modified to resist until the end of the competition.

The 35th edition of the Dakar Rally was held on January 5, 2014 with a journey that began in Argentina continued in Bolivia and culminated in Chile with a total of 9300 km, on board the prototype BMW X1 were Orlin Aleksiev (Орлин Алексиев) and PlamenNikolov two experienced Bulgarians, this vehicle was modified to be able to give about 350 horsepower and thus be able to reach the end of the competition, the team leader is the former ATV player TodorHristov, the competition from the beginning to the end put to test the performance of all to reach the end, in this case we must emphasize the work done by the Bulgarian team in which Orlin Aleksiev was a piece of great importance that managed to unite this team for 4 consecutive years, using his experience record to give his best in the 2014 Dakar Rally and reach the end
We must give special recognition to Orlin Aleksiev and PlamenNikolov, two Bulgarians who represented the Bulgarian team for the fourth year in a row, this is something worth admiring, the experience of these veterans gave good results and it is that the simple fact of reaching the goal and it is a gigantic achievement in such an extreme competition as the Dakar Rally where being excellent is not enough to say I am inside the team, success to Bulgarianteam.
